Although she may be considered new to professional coaching, Anjie has always been a natural healer and a keen observer of the human condition. After a long and prolific career in media working as a producer, journalist, and consultant, it’s safe to say that she has seen the world from many different lenses. This has brought her a deep and personal understanding of woundedness and taught her the unique skill of seeing people for who they really are and who they can become.
Having gone through the winding road of personal and professional challenges, she too has benefited from working closely with many inspiring coaches and mentors to whom she attributes much of her own transformation and success.
Anjie is known for being wildly intuitive, with a sincere desire to accompany people on their own journeys of becoming their best and most empowered version of themselves. Her vibrant personality and confidence are balanced by a peaceful and calming presence, using both strategy and mindfulness to help people reach their greatest potential by overcoming their self-limiting beliefs or emotional blocks. Her lifelong passion for communication has refined her skills in both creative expression and active listening, allowing her to direct meaningful conversations that help coachees find out-of-the-box solutions to challenges and discover a deeper appreciation of life.
She graduated with a degree in AB Communication Arts from De La Salle University and received her MA in Theology, major in Social-Pastoral Communication (cum laude) from the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School. She was a fellow of the World Press Institute, a British Chevening scholar for television production, and an alumna of the AIM Managing the Arts Program.
She completed the Accelerated Coach Training Program conducted by Benchmark Consulting. She is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the largest professional organization of coaches worldwide, and the Asia-Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC), the regional network of coaches.
